The 10th Annual Asian Film Festival of Dallas<\/strong> presented by Well Go USA Entertainment and McDonald\u2019s proudly presents its opening night and full film schedules.<\/p>\n

From Thursday, July 14th through Thursday, July 21st, the 10th Annual Asian Film Festival of Dallas (AFFD)<\/strong> will be held at The Magnolia in the West Village where thousands of fans will enjoy more than 30 films from 6 different Asian origins, all week-long<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

“This year is more exciting than any other year, and we\u2019ve topped it off by not only bringing more of the best Asian films to Dallas<\/strong> but receptions throughout the festival week for our film-goers to meet the filmmakers,” said AFFD Executive Director Alicia Chang. “We have our sponsors, partners and our AFFD film-goers and fans to truly thank for these 10-years.”<\/p>\n

The festival starts with the opening night film SHAOLIN at 7 p.m. on July 15th, directed by Benny Chan and starring Jackie Chan, Andy Lau, Nicholas Tse and Bingbing Fan<\/strong>. A limited number of VIP passes are still available at $129 which includes full access to all screenings, the front of the lines and to the parties and receptions. VIP passes can be purchased online at www.affd.org. General tickets start from $7 to $12 and can be purchased online starting July 2nd.<\/p>\n

About the Asian Film Festival of Dallas<\/strong>
\nSince its creation in 2002, the annual film festival has grown to become the South\u2019s largest showcase of Asian and Asian American cinema. Over the past eight years, the festival has provided opportunities for nearly 300 Asian and Asian American filmmakers and documentarians to share their vision, often providing the only venue for their films to be shown in Dallas. The films have also allowed festival goers a chance to experience other lives and cultures without leaving their seats.<\/p>\n
