New York City Council member, John Liu, is looking to make history again. John Liu, the first Asian American elected to the City Council, hopes to be the first Asian American to hold citywide office, as City Controller.

“I am the only candidate who understands first-hand the struggles of immigrants,” Liu said. “I have a perspective that continues to the benefit of people. I love being in public service … I want to do more of it.” via the Daily News.
