Last night’s Asian win was Shohreh Aghdashloo, for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Sajida Khairallah Talfah, Saddam’s wife, on the HBO original miniseries, House of Saddam.

Shohreh was born in Iran and started acting at age 20. Eventually, her career would bring her to Los Angeles.

You might remember Shohreh when she played, Nadi, in The House of Sand and Fog.
