Grace Park wore a short colorful mini dress to the Entertainment Weekly’s Emmy Pre-Party Celebrating the 2008 Emmy Nominees held at the old Beverly Hills Post Office in Beverly Hills, CA this past Saturday. She was one of the few Asians representing on the carpet along with CS Lee and Rex Lee. All three were also gracing the TV category_ide Emmy After Party last night at The Kress in Hollywood. The ironic thing about so few Asian Americans on television or for that matter having lead roles, sans Margaret Cho, the theme decor of the TV category_ide Party was to eminate Japan. While waiting for the photogs, we were trying to guess if all the Asian girls in geisha regalia were actually Japanese. One photog, who is part Japanese, was slightly offended with the arches that adorned the party. According to her, the arches are normally used only for sacred entrances of Shinto Temples. That was Asian history lesson for the evening.
