New Show! “Les Fleurs de Shanghai” Debuting Wed 1/25/2012
I am THRILLED to announce that my dream show “Les Fleurs de Shanghai” will make its debut at the beautiful Duane Park restaurant in TriBeCa in NYC on Wednesday 1/25/2012 just in time for Chinese New Year!
This show extols the romance and decadence of Old Shanghai with classic Chinese songs from the 1920s, 30s, 40s, and 50s. Shanghai in the 1930s was known as both the “Paris of the East” and the “Whore of Asia” for its cosmopolitan and decadent qualities.
This exotic monthly show delivers a taste of the glamor and extravagance of the time, featuring live music by The Night Fragrance Jazz Band with Jesse Elder on piano, Michael Webb on guitar, and vocals by the beautiful and mysterious Shien Lee of Dances of Vice. Burlesque performances by myself, DeeDee Luxe, and special guest performers.
There is no cover charge for the show. There is a two drink minimum and for those who would like to dine while enjoying the show, there will be an optional $40 3-course prix fixe menu available.
Show starts at 8:30pm. Seating starts at 7:30pm. Reservations are highly recommended as all burlesque shows at Duane Park are consistently sold out. Make your reservation by emailing duanepark@earthlink.net.
I hope to see you there!

Thanks to Malgorzata!
