Rick Santorum continues to drop. No other front runner has faded so steadily as he has. All the others have at least paused a day or two or even done a “dead-cat” bounce once or twice before continuing their slide to the bottom. Not Rick. It’s been all downhill for him.
What’s perhaps even worse for Santorum is he is now within 5 ppts of Newt Gingrich in third place. That brings Newt within striking distance, and he is starting to rise. Rick could easily end up in third place in the next few days.
