Summer Hair in Hongdae, Seoul

Around the globe, we’ve been experiencing some truly hot weather. 2012 has been the hottest year on record — at least stateside — and turns out Korea has been experiencing droughts and heat waves throughout the summer as well!

Which is why this cute hairdo from Tanpopo Hair Salon in the artsy Hongdae area of Seoul really caught my eye. I’m usually happy with my straight black hair which I tie up in a bun when it’s too darn hot, but this ‘Ethnic Two-Block Color’ hairstyle looks really good right now. I especially love the little braids, the cooling lime green highlights…

Oh, how many of us are coming in the spnrig? A meet up is a must! I’d love it if you would write about all the things you mentioned (shopping, food, cafe9s, clubbing, concerts ). Plus maybe you could write about what is interesting to see outside of Seoul. Anna mentioned Jeju, what else would be worth while to see? The coast? Busan? I plan to go to Korea somewhere around the World DJ festival (you went last year right?), so maybe you could write about the different kinds of festivals that Korea has. I heard that there is a mud festival that is quite popular…

I’m coming in the beinginng of April and it would be so fun to meet up with you and the nonnies that are in Seoul I really want to go to a concert (preferably with BigBang or 2ne1 but I really don’t understand how you book tickets (some say you don’t but you have o prove you’re a fan or something?). So if you know anything about that I would love to hear it ^^ Also good clubs and if there is something special you should think about when going out in Seoul kind of stuff
