Emily Chang in new Ruffles Potato Chip commercial
Have you seen the new Ruffles Ultimate Potato Chip commercial with the Asian girl playing poker? The actress is Emily Chang and chances are this is not the first time you’ve seen her!
She won an Emmy Award (NY Region) for “China On the Frontlines” in 2010 and won a Best Actress Award for her performance in “One Mistake” at the 48-Hour Film Festival (San Diego) 2012.
Emily has also appeared in Total Recall, 90210, The Reginald Lewis Story and Shanghai Hotel.
And if you remember ImaginAsianTV which was based in NYC, Emily was the host of “The Lounge”, frequently interviewing Asian American guests.
What is the name of the Asian guy in the black glasses and brown t shirt sitting next to her date? I know I have seen him in something else, but I can’t remember what!!

Mike: Thanks so much for responding to my post. It has been a running family joke for the last 5 months, everytime we see the commercial my wife and daughter ask if I have ever remembered what I saw you in. The first time I saw the commercial in Sept 2012, I knew I had seen you in something else but couldn’t remember what. It really bugs me when I can’t remember so I have been trying to find out ever since. Totally forgot about my original post here! I think I remember you from Untold Stories of the ER. Did you play a patient will all kinds of problems that they could not find by any chance? Let me know if you have time. Again, thanks for putting an end to my “quest”.
