Sir Ivan’s La La Land

Lions and tigers and bears oh my!, were just a sampling of the exotic creatures that descended upon Sir Ivan’s Castle in the Hamptons last night, complete with a Merry-go-round and life size neon lit Alice in Wonderland caterpillars. Known for throwing lavish and extravagant themed parties, Sir Ivan created a fantasy “La La Land” to launch and perform his latest electro pop single follow up to “I Am Peaceman”. To create an over the top atmosphere, guests were encouraged to adhere to a strict dress code of exotic animals and bizarre creatures with costumes ranging from animal print dresses to barely there body paint and Matthew Barney characters – these creatures of the night employed their most creative touches to solidify Ivan’s reputation as the Playboy Mansion of the East End. For one night at least, La la land meets Oz was a reality.
