PETA slams Beyonce: Singer under fire for inhumane halftime costume (Photos)

Beyonce is under fire from the People For the Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA) for her black leather Rubin Singer costume she rocked during her Super Bowl halftime show, according to a Feb. 5 E! News report.

Beyonce’s outfit was based on the designer’s upcoming fall 2013 collection entitled “Valkyrie’s Dominion,” according to E! News. The costume reportedly took a team of 14 workers and over 200 man hours to complete and the materials used include python, paneled iguana, trapunto-pick stitched leather, nylon, metal, plastic and silk, among others.

She still looked like a fat cow!

“We would take a bet that if Beyonce watched our video exposes, she’d probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits or other animals who died painfully,” PETA told E! News.

What do you expect from an uneducated cow?

“Today’s fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyonce’s Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score.”

This is the second time the singer has come under attack for her non-vegan or alleged inhumane fashion choices. Last month, she was reportedly criticized for the floor-length Christian Dior mink coat she wore to the Presidential inauguration.

Her performance at the Super Bowl was quite lackluster. Anyone can prance around on a stage like an out of control islander. She’s no Michael Jackson, even though she thinks she is,
