Two Asian American massage parlor therapists arrested in prostitution case

Two women who work at a massage parlor face prostitution related charges following an investigation that began when a customer’s wife shadowed her husband into the business, saw sex acts while kicking down doors looking for him and called police, authorities said Friday.

The woman, who followed her husband into the Rose Spa on Park Avenue three weeks ago, found her husband alone, waiting for a massage, but also saw sexual acts being performed and called police to the scene, Police Chief John Russo said. But the spa was empty when police arrived. Nevertheless, that led to an undercover investigation and the arrest of two women Thursday after they tried to get away by climbing onto a roof, he said.

The manager, Shanji An, 42, of Flushing, N.Y., is charged with promoting prostitution, obstructing, resisting arrest, and maintaining a nuisance, all indictable offenses, as well as operating as an unlicensed massage therapist, a borough code violation, Russo said.

Meishu Jiang, 45, of Palisades Park is charged with engaging in prostitution, a disorderly persons offense, as well as indictable offenses of obstructing and resisting arrest. She also was charged with operating as an unlicensed therapist.

Both were released on summonses, Russo said.

Just make prostitution legal already, geez!

A little rub’n tug is pretty harmless and relieves a lot of stress. A handie is a lot cheaper than the price of half a house in a divorce settlement

Sure it is. However, if you had to pay the piper with a documented legal fine and/or get arrested or better yet, have your photo taken as you are leaving the place for your entire family to see, it wouldn’t be so “harmless” anymore, now would it?? Again, no pun intended!:(

I just think that both parties need to get punished if caught. Especially since the man’s wife pulled a “fatal attraction” and stalked him in the first place, which started the investigation. That is the reason why these two women were arrested, is it not?? Regardless, it should be legalized like Las Vegas.

This is hilarious! Prostitution should be legalized. Everyone knows what goes on at those “massage parlors” in NYC. It is mainly the married men who are looking for sex outside of the marriage or sex period. Get a divorce or be willing to pay the price, no pun intended. The men are more guilty than those prostitutes because they drive the business. There is really something wrong with this picture because both parties should be fined/punished just like they enforced with counterfeiters on Canal Street. Both the seller and the buyer get fined.

The lady on the left looks like the business owner…she has the video surveillance camera that shows what type of car customers show up in….and charges accordingly. The poor gal on the right looks like she just completed a “hard” night shift….but all in a day’s work. Its either this or build Apple devices in China.

These girls should have gotten Style by Cat to do their makeup before getting their mug shot taken. Maybe a business opportunity, Cat?

Legalization implies taxation implies requiring Obamacare. The Democrats will love you for the suggestion, but I know your political bent is another direction.
Can you imagine when Bill Clinton becomes the “First Man” and President Hilliary walks in on him puffing on a Colorado cheeba and the unionized working girls are giving him an hourly special.
On the other hand, Chris Christy will love you for finding a new use for all those empty Atlantic City gambling barns. Will the Donald want his name on a whorehouse? You bet he would! As long as the girls don’t mess up his hair.

I am only responding to your comment in order to properly “represent myself.” First of all, “Anonymous” for an “Anonymous” individual you claim to know me quite well. Let me clear something up. I am an “Independent” which means that I am neither a Democrat nor a Republican. I vote on issues as separate from the party that represents. I am simply stating that I think men have gotten away with not even a slap on the wrist for far too long. They need to be held accountable for their actions already because they are just as guilty if not more so than these sex workers. I am sure that if that crazy wife knew that her husband’s act would be made public for all of their “friends” and “family” to see, she would have proceeded with a different course of action, or simply ignored it, which is what she should have done in the first place. Boys will be boys. The man is probably visiting a spanking new “massage parlor” as I write this. What is she going to do?? Follow his ass and have those female sex workers arrested too?? Good luck! If you don’t like it, you can always relieve yourself of the situation by getting a divorce. I’m not condoning that behavior but just because you are “married” to an individual does not mean that you “own” him/her.

Silda Spitzer is a class act! She is also very attractive and much prettier in person. I like and admire her; very unlike her husband.
