Man who shot rookie Asian cop gets 25 years
Showing absolutely no remorse, a Brooklyn farebeater who ?shot a ?rookie ?cop ?who pulled him off a bus coldly answered, “F— it,” when ?a judge asked if he had anything to say before he sentenced him Wednesday.
Rashaun Robinson, 29,? ?shot? ?rookie cop James Li, 26,? ?in each le?g ?after the cop? ?grabbed? ?him off a city bus in Flatbush on Feb?. 26. He? pleaded guilty and ?was sentenced to 25 years behind bars.
Afterwards, Li coolly assessed Robinson’s performance.
“He’s dumb,” said the officer, who now walks with a cane. “I’m just glad that he’s getting 25 [years].”??
Assistant District Attorney Lew Lieberman push?ed? back at recent criticism of the NYPD before the sentencing.
“I just hope the public understands what these cops are doing to keep them safe,” he said in court.
Brooklyn Supreme Court Judge Alan Marrus echoed Lieberman’s words.
“This case represents a stark example of the extreme danger a police officer faces when enforcing the law,” Marrus said.
“It’s a case that demonstrates that the lawbreaker can be the one who overreacts in an [encounter] with the police.”
Robinson tried to withdraw his guilty plea before the sentencing — citing ineffective counsel and medication he’s been taking — but Marrus didn’t buy it.
“There is no reason for me to vacate your plea,” Marrus said.
After he was arrested in February, Robinson told detectives he carries a gun because cops think they run everything.
“They are the biggest gang in New York and are always messing with black people and he is sick of it,” Robinson told them, according to court papers.
He also told police he wanted to kill a cop that day, sources have said.
And when Robinson pleaded guilty last month and Marrus asked him whether he understood that he caused serious injury to Li, the heartless thug said quietly, “He can still walk.”

Of course, no one will hear about this because he was an Asian Cop. If it was an Asian boy killing an “African American” cop the whole world would know about it and Oprah and Obama would put their more than 2 cents in!! Obama would actually take a break from playing golf to speak about it. I didn’t want Obama to win either election in large part due to his wife’s reverse discrimination. She made several comments expressing her disdain toward the white race. This reverse discrimination must stop and every individual regardless of his/her background should be treated equally!! Thank god James Li survived and that Rashaun is supposedly getting 25 years = he’ll be out before you know it! 🙁

Exactly! Where’s the Asian ‘troublemaker’ aka Asian Rev Al Sharpton on this one? I didn’t think so! The whites gave Sharpton too much power. If he started with me, I would shut his ass down and not give him any relevance. Why do white people like Don Sterling and NYC Police Commissioner Bratton give him too much credence? The American People gave Oprah Winfrey too much power!! Who the hell is she anyway?? She doesn’t possess any postgraduate degrees and/or have an extraordinary background but what she does have is a lot of excess weight and a larger than life ego!! 🙁 She violated all of the laws of programming when she consistently endorsed Barack Obama for President. It is supposed to be against the law to use your television forum as a platform for campaigning!! Once again, not only did she get away with it but she also wasn’t fined. If any other television personality did that the outcome would have been completely different. 🙁
Enough with Oprah Winfrey too and her little group of cronies! America needs to get a clue! BTW the people at Hermes were also rude to me when I was in the Paris shop. They are rude period.
