Calvin Klein reprises Iconic ck one Campaign with Asians #ckforme

The new ck one images, shot by Mario Sorrenti, feature some of the hippest — and hottest — men and women in the worlds of music, movies and fashion, including South Korean singer Taeyang and Chinese model Jing Wen.

Calvin Klein first reprised the ck one campaign back in 2011 (starring the likes of Sky Ferreira and Lara Stone) but this year’s campaign has a decidedly digital slant to it: The images and accompanying TV spot are shot from the perspective of a camera phone.

Along with Taeyang the other talent include; singer/songwriter Dev Hynes and his girlfriend, singer Samantha Urbani; sister musicians Say Lou Lou; electro-pop singer Kelela; electronic artist and producer Evian Christ; singer and actress Soko; artist Ally Marzella; fashion photographer Michael Bailey Gates; photographer and fashion designer Petra Collins; and a number of famous models including Chinese model Jing Wen.

Ohhhh an Asian girl kissing another girl on camera? What would her parents think?

Calvin Klein is not my favorite designer to say the least. I actually poured an entire bottle of red vino on his head at a Fashion Week Party back in 2008! I was upset and intoxicated at the time so I took it out on Calvin Klein! I think that he is too greedy and his prices are too high. I was highly annoyed that I couldn’t afford to buy a Calvin Klein blouse at the time because I was going through the hardest time of my life!! I poured the entire bottle over a sculpture of his head and told people that it looked so much better that way! Needless to say, I was reprimanded by Security and then got away scot free like I always do! 🙁

BTW He really needs to stop being so desperate! He’ll do anything to shock the audience in order to sell his line. There are so many Asian Designers out there now who blow him out of the water! Sorry Calvin. 🙁

1980 Brooke Shields Calvin Klein Jeans Commercial

Brooke was at the height of her fame with this “controversial commercial” back in the day. Everyone was so shocked by it at the time. I was with the William Shiller Agency at the time and they tried to make every girl look just like Brooke, including me. Very tough job!

He’ll do anything and say anything to shock the audience in order to sell his line. He is almost as bad as Jane Fonda with her Gloria Swanson bits from Sunset Boulevard. There are so many Asian Designers out there now who blow him out of the water! Sorry Calvin. And do not send me any free clothes because I do not want them!! That is an order! 🙁

Gloria Swanson – All right_ Mr_ DeMille_ I_m ready for my close-up
Both Calvin Klein and Jane Fonda need to vanish already. Enough is enough!! 🙁

Now do you realize how creepy you both are?? 🙁

Hopefully the red wine didn’t stain your clothing……

No, the red wine just stained Calvin Klein’s head. It really did look so much better after I poured the entire bottle of red vino on it! I think I may be an artist at heart as I just discovered another great use for red red wine! 🙂
