The Movie The Hundred Foot Journey

I took my mother out to see “The Hundred Foot Journey” and we both loved it! Great cast, beautiful scenery, great screenplay, and excellent cooking! It inspired me to post some of my special Indian and French meals on this site! I do think that Stephen Speilberg and Oprah Winfrey could have paid it forward by helping aspiring Indian Producers to make the film instead of producing it themselves! 🙁 The greed in this Country is at unbelievable proportions. As much as I love Capitalism, I think that some individuals are overly aggressive in their pursuit of fame and money. It is a tremendous turn-off as with the case of Dr. Phil, his wife and his son! Ironically “The Hundred Foot Journey” had a beautiful message about paying it forward. Unfortunately, the producers of the movie don’t practice what they preach! When is enough enough for these people?? I have been to so many Asian and Indian Film Festivals hosting such talented filmmakers and producers, yet they do not get a large enough forum! 🙁
