BiPolar Disease=A Very REAL Disease Even Despite The Fact That It Is Invisible

BiPolar Disease is categorized in two forms, BiPolar I and BiPolar II. As in the case of most illnesses BiPolar I is the more serious counterpart. I would like to shed light on this serious illness because in today’s world too many people are being diagnosed as “BiPolar” when they are not. If a person is moody or acts out in an erratic way we label them as “BiPolar.” The truth of the matter is that too many people are falsely labeled as such.

I just found out that a woman who was actually more of an acquaintance of mine, jumped off the Balcony of her apartment building in New York City. She was BiPolar. Due to her job and the Manhattan Environment she engaged in “drinking” on a very regular basis. The one thing about any mental illness is that you need to take the medicine that is prescribed for your illness. She would skip her meds and go out for drinks several nights a week. That led to even more drinking and possibly even other substances. She had everything to live for and was quite young.

I am telling this story because she is the third victim of this serious mental illness. She was a friend/acquaintance, however; a guy who I dated in the past ended up stabbing a young woman to death in Nantucket as a result of the alcohol abuse and his BiPolar I Illness. The fact of the matter is that most men usually get violent and take it out on others while women turn that violence inward and commit suicide.

BiPolar Disease is a serious illness. If not treated properly, it can result in the major destruction and ending of people’s lives. Finally, Robin Williams was BiPolar. Many artists like Robin do not want to take their meds because the high’s of the condition are stifled with the medication. Medication provides balance and as such lessens the extremities of the high’s and low’s.

Drinking alcohol is not advisable when taking medication. There are several non-alcoholic beverages on the market now that serve as “Cocktails.” Take advantage of that and also save yourself the calories!

Almost all of Dr. Phil’s guests are diagnosed as BiPolar. That label is highly abused even by Medical Professionals today. The Dr. Phil Show is ridiculous as he rushes to diagnose and label troubled guests in record time for the ratings. Not only that but he continuously pulls the “soft sell” by using these guests to sell his books, his medical technology, his wife’s cosmetic skincare line, his son’s music, and his other son’s books, credits cards and other shit. Dr. Phil should get a counseling session on how not to oversell at the expense of others and how to limit the family coattailing on his successes! 🙁

You can completely see that as he is “counseling” these individuals he is thinking about photo ops, a cocktail party, meeting up with Oprah, etc. He strikes me as being a tremendous phony! 🙁

Is Big Phil saying cosmetics plus music (from his family) will cure/control BiPolar?
