If you are told to put your hands behind your back by an officer of the law, you better do it. This has nothing to do with race. It is right vs. wrong! Stop making it about that! Police put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. It’s unfortunate that Garner died but if he would have just listened to the police officer, this whole issue could have been avoided. It is not the officer’s fault that he is overweight and has asthma. This is NOT a racial issue! Disgusting!
I agree. The people making these comments should put on a uniform and walk a beat for a day to see what it is like to interact with the public at the street level instead of from a politician’s viewpoint.

Right again Nancy! Too much attention is being given to this story. The Christmas Lighting last night at Rockefeller Center was actually ruined by these maniacs (demanding even more attention!) š Education is the answer. If the protestors were properly educated in the first place, the problem would go away. If the situation were reverse, you would never see groups congregating to bring attention to the issue.
