Student Art Targets Hate Crimes

A multimedia student art exhibition speaks out against hate crimes in a video report on SinoVision. The work comes from the 8th Annual Hate Crime Prevention Art Contest in which high school students across the city from diverse backgrounds submitted artwork, writing and videos on this year’s theme, “No one is nobody, be somebody’s hero.” The Organization of Chinese Americans New York Chapter organized the event.

This year’s winners are urging their peers to be a hero to themselves and others.
