Tim Kang: An Asian American actor on the rise
Tim Kang is currently a cast member of the new CBS series “The Mentalist.” He includes among his feature film credits “Rambo”, “The Forgotten,” “Two Weeks Notice,” “Robot Stories,” as well as the upcoming “Mr. Sadman.” On television he portrayed Detective Kent Yoshihara on the acclaimed series, “Third Watch,” and Chaplain Alan Lantz on the award winning CBS series, “The Unit.” His other episodic credits include “The Office,” “Ghost Whisperer,” “The Sopranos,” “Monk,” “Chappelle’s Show,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “Law & Order: Trial By Jury.” Kang was born and raised in San Francisco, California and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Science. A classically trained actor, he holds a Masters Degree from the prestigious A.R.T Institute at Harvard. “The Mentalist” premieres Sep. 23rd.

Good to see other nationalities conquer some US TV series. They add some important ingredients in the storyline. I am a series follower of The Mentalist and so far Tim is doing great there. Nice to see him contributes specific role in a team that no one can give. Go Kimball Cho.
