Phillip Lim’s show
Chinese American designer Phillip Lim has become one of the hottest designers in fashion today. In 2007, he won the Council of Fashion Designers of America Emerging Talent in Womenswear award for his work. This season his models wore Beatles-style bob wigs. Kanye West is a huge fan of Phillip Lim and made an appearance at his show. Of course he hired his favorite Asian models, Tao Okamoto and Emma Pei.

I think Asian hair behaves SO differently from Caucasian hair. It just doesn’t fall the same way. So the cuts kinda looked Beatle-esque, but it wasn’t convincing. If it weren’t for the article pointing it out, I wouldn’t have noticed.
