In light of the most recent Pig Gate, where should we start? Tiger, John Edwards, A-Rod, Bill Clinton?… the list goes on.

Tiger Woods cheats on wife, wife beats him to a pulp, Tiger needs to buy a “Kobe special”, wife most likely stays or increases prenup, he stops cheating…for awhile or is more careful. Wife will most likely stay.
I began to think about who and why women stay in these “abusive” relationships. Never mind why men cheat, we will never get to the bottom of that issue. I know women cheat too. We’ll explore that later, but this is a woman’s dating column. Would you allow your man to have his cake and eat it too?
My friends and I decided to make a list of some “could have his cake too” women:
Whitney Houston – Bobby has his cake and ate it too…for a long time. Until he decided to spit at her and Whitney was not having that anymore….Hell to the naw! What’s even worse? She was supporting the douchebag!
Hillary Clinton – Bubba had his cake and ate it too, lied to our faces, found another interesting way to make use of a cigar, is probably still having his cake and eating it too. But with www.hillary2012.com already purchased and Hillary on a power trip, there’s a high probability she’ll continue letting him have his cake and eating it too. Word to the wise Hillary, he’s not helping your campaign. I’d have more respect for you, and a possible vote, if you would just dump his sorry ass!
Jacqueline Onassis – John F. Kennedy is reported to have had affairs, with individuals including Marilyn Monroe, Mimi Beardsley Alford, author of “Once Upon A Secret” and Mary Pinchot Meyer. Let’s not forget his nickname “Mattress Back”. Jackie O. stated at a college event shortly before she died, “I like to share what I’ve learned with all young women I meet, because I wished I’d have known it at your age-never marry, never mix your money”.
Alex Rodriguez’ wife – Cynthia let him have his cake and eat it too, until he decided he wanted to be with Madonna. Their marriage survived his affair with a stripper in Canada, among many others, with pictures of A-Rod and his stripper on the cover of the New York Post. Cynthia Rodriguez did what most women do to keep their man…She got pregnant, again. Unfortunately, it still didn’t tame the wild beast. He kicked her, along with numerous other “clingy” women to the curb. A-Rod should have never been married. Same with Tiger. It didn’t hurt A-Rod. Tiger are you listening?
Vanessa Bryant – Married to one of the greatest players in the NBA today, Kobe Bryant. Her husband was accused of rape and he admitted cheating on her. Vanessa still stood by her man, and attended a press conference with a $4.5 million purple diamond ring on her finger. The charges were eventually dropped but Kobe admitted to having sex outside his marriage…This time.
Elizabeth Edwards – Looks wise, he’s a 10, she’s a 2. He’s out on the road traveling. If you want to be happy for the rest of it, never make a pretty woman your wife. Can I just ask a question? I thought she had cancer, and it hit the bone about 3 years ago? They had a big press conference on it? Was that just for sensational purposes? I hope not, but tell me someone who survives 3+ years after cancer hits the bone? Boy those are some miracles! With her husband’s love child all over the papers and a sex tape with his baby mama soon to hit store shelves, it’s no wonder they finally separated? Way to go Elizabeth. Is being first lady really that important for you to put up with your husband’s grotesque behavior? We know you knew about it all along.
These are just a few of the women, in which the media claims are inspirations, women to be admired, educated, we should aspire to be like, filled with principles, etc. …gag me you’re so wrong!
Each month, I’ll profile and give my honest opinion, as an experienced serial dater on one of the above women. As a matter of fact, I might even get my PHD in Human Behavior in order to study the dynamics of these “educated”, “intelligent” women and why they choose to stay with these men. Can I hear a “Desperate”?

Let it be known here, that women’s motivation of, “I want to keep it together for the children” is just a ploy to win their husband back. She doesn’t give two shits about her children..otherwise she would have went away quietly without writing a book, without allowing cameras into her home, etc.
“It is better to come from a broken home, than to be in a broken home.” It is sad though, not many couples realize that. They do not realize how harmful the yelling, silence and stress are on the children. It is the children who ultimately suffer more.
This sets a bad example to her four boys. She should have the self-esteem and where withall to kick him to the curb and find her soulmate. Jenny should explain to her sons, that Mark’s not good enough for her, this is not how you treat women, and marriage is something to be taken seriously. Let’s continue to taint the next generation shall we?

Once considered a potential candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, Sanford’s political career was derailed by a sex scandal in June 2009 when he went AWOL for a six days.
While his camp said he was on a hike of the Appalachian Trail, the then-married politician, a father of four, later admitted to visiting Argentinia to see his mistress — a woman he once referred to as his “soul mate”.

Ex-wife says former SC Gov. Sanford trespassed
Former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford must appear in court two days after running for a vacant congressional seat to answer a complaint that he trespassed at his ex-wife’s home, according to court documents acquired by The Associated Press on Tuesday.
The complaint says Jenny Sanford confronted Sanford leaving her Sullivans Island home on Feb. 3 by a rear door, using his cell phone for a flashlight. Her attorney filed the complaint the next day and Jenny Sanford confirmed Tuesday the documents are authentic.
The couple’s 2010 divorce settlement says neither may enter the other’s home without permission. Mark Sanford lives about a 20-minute drive away in downtown Charleston.
Republican Mark Sanford is trying to revive his political career that was derailed by an extramarital affair that ended the couple’s marriage. He faces Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch on May 7 as he tries to regain the 1st District congressional seat he held for three terms in the 1990s.
Spokesman Joel Sawyer said the Sanford campaign had no immediate comment on the court documents.
The complaint filed by Jenny Sanford’s lawyer, Deena Smith McRackan, said that Mark Sanford has “entered into a pattern of entering onto plaintiff’s property. Plaintiff has informed defendant on a number of occasions that this behavior is in violation of the court’s order and has demanded that it not occur again.”
In Febuary of 2011, McRackan sent a letter to Mark Sanford telling him not to trespass on Jenny Sanford’s property. A copy of that letter was also sent to the local police, according to court filings.
Jenny Sanford said Tuesday that she has custody of the couple’s four boys.
She said the complaint has nothing to do with her former husband’s efforts to rebuild his career in politics. She said it was filed with the court the day after the incident and when a family court judge last month set the case for the docket, it happened to be two days after the election.
“I am doing my best not to get in the way of his race,” Jenny Sanford told the AP. “I want him to sink or swim on his own. For the sake of my children I’m trying my best not to get in the way, but he makes things difficult for me when he does things like trespassing.”
Sanford is trying to make a comeback after his political career was sidelined in 2009 after confessing an extramarital affair. As a sitting governor, he disappeared from the state for five days only to return and confess to an affair with an Argentine woman, Maria Chapur. He and Jenny Sanford soon divorced and he is now engaged to Chapur who lives in Argentina.
A spokesman for Colbert Busch said that the campaign had no comment on the dispute between the Sanfords.
In December of 2011, there was another complaint against Mark Sanford brought by Jenny Sanford saying he had not made the $5,000 yearly contribution for one of their son’s college education. Jenny Sanford said Tuesday that the matter has been resolved but would not comment further.

A day earlier, Jenny Sanford confirmed the authenticity of court documents obtained by The Associated Press that say her ex-husband violated their divorce settlement by repeatedly visiting her Sullivans Island home — most recently on Feb. 3, using his cellphone as a flashlight. He has been ordered to appear at a court hearing May 9, two days after the election.
Sanford issued a statement Wednesday characterizing the matter as a disagreement.
“I did indeed watch the second half of the Super Bowl at the beach house with our 14-year-old son because as a father I didn’t think he should watch it alone,” Sanford said. “Given she was out of town I tried to reach her beforehand to tell her of the situation that had arisen, and met her at the back steps under the light of my cellphone when she returned and told her what had happened.”

Playboy Congressman Mark Sanford aired his dirty laundry in a rambling Facebook post Friday where he praised Jesus and called off his engagement to his Argentinian lover.
The South Carolina rep posted a lengthy 2,346-word essay outlining his reasons for finally hiring a lawyer in their custody dispute after his ex-wife Jenny filed a complaint demanding he undergo a psychiatric exam and take anger management and parenting classes.
“I cannot do this anymore,” the embattled 54-year-old Congressman wrote of the ongoing legal battle he and the mother of his four sons have been embroiled in since he announced an ongoing affair with Argentine journalist, Maria Belen Chapur.
Sanford infamously disappeared for six days in June 2009, forcing his flack to say he was “hiking the Appalachian Trail.” When he reemerged, he announced he had fallen in love with Chapur.
Two weeks before his disappearance, Jenny had filed for a trial separation and the two later divorced. Since then, Sanford said he has been saddled with “the threat of lawsuit or actual lawsuit about every six months.’’
He added, “I have always tried to quiet the matter because, at so many different levels, I wanted to do anything to avoid conflict,” he wrote. He added that Jenny’s complaint was meant to embarrass him.
The Sanfords are scheduled to appear in Charleston state court next week after Jenny filed for stricter custody limits on their youngest son, Blake, 15, which the congressman says makes no sense because his ex already has full custody.
Just before putting up the Facebook post, Sanford asked for a gag order on the custody case claiming the issue was private.
Jenny’s lawyer, Marie-Louise Ramsdale, told the Wall Street Journal that the post “directly contradicts” his court filing and that his client is just trying to protect her boys.
Aside from his legal woes, Sanford also announced the end to his two-year engagement to Chapur, saying, “No relationship can stand forever this tension of being forced to pick between the one you love and your own son or daughter, and for this reason Belen and I have decided to call of the engagement.”
The former governor of South Carolina didn’t go so far as to say his relationship with the sexy Spanish sweetheart, who is 11 years younger than him, is over.
“Belen is a remarkably wonderful woman who I have always loved and I will be forever grateful for not only the many years we have known and loved each other, but the last six very tough ones wherein she has encouraged me and silently borne its tribulations with her ever warm and kind spirit,” he wrote.
Sanford ended his tirade with some nice words for his ex, saying she is a good mom who loves and cares for their children.
“I hope and believe Jenny and I can find a new way,” he said. “It’s also [a] reminder for every one of you have been blessed to avoid the agony of divorce, of how important it is you spend time when you have it with those who now bear your name.”
