Most Influential South Asian Women Executives in the Media and Entertainment Industry

Korn/Ferry International, a premier global provider of talent management solutions, announced its list of the Most Influential South Asian Women Executives in the Media and Entertainment Industry. The list was created to honor women executives of South Asian background who have excelled in various roles in the media and entertainment business. In announcing the release of the list, Bill Simon, senior client partner and managing director of Korn/Ferry International’s Global Media & Entertainment Sector, said, “This past year has seen a substantial growth in Indian companies in Hollywood. Indian entertainment is no longer a niche industry, but a burgeoning global business that has expanded into the mainstream. These remarkable women have each contributed much to bridge east and west and their continuing efforts will benefit all in the entertainment and media for years to come.”

The list of the Most Influential South Asian Women Executives in the Media and Entertainment Industry was developed by Korn/Ferry International in consultation with the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA). Working closely with his global team including Korn/Ferry International partner Ashutosh Khanna based in India, the list was finalized and approved by Bill Simon, Senior Partner and Chair of Korn/Ferry International’s Global Entertainment & Media Practice. The list was generated by a careful and systematic analysis of the key recipients and their achievements.

The individuals on the list will be honored at a reception and dinner during the 8th Annual Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) that is back at ArcLight Hollywood on April 20-25.
