South Korean Jiyai Shin stays number one in LPGA

Jiyai Shin stayed atop the world rankings for the fourth consecutive week, despite no tournament this week on the LPGA Tour.

With several players occupying the top spot all year, Shin has stayed in first for a whole month.

Suzann Pettersen, Cristie Kerr, Yani Tseng, Na Yeon Choi, Ai Miyazato and In Kyung Kim each remained in their places from last week.

Song-Hee Kim and Paula Creamer both rose a single spot, while Michelle Wie, who is hampered by a back injury, dropped two to No. 10.
