EAT, PRAY, LOVE was more like YAWN, BLINK, SLEEP

Am I the ONLY ONE in America that has no use for that stupid book? A friend convinced me to see the movie which I felt was even worse than the book if that is even possible!

I don’t get it. She had this adorable sweet husband and a great life and then she goes off to supposedly “find herself” only to end up with some other random guy with a completely unrelatable background. And this is inspirational because?

Life is short and every moment is precious. The sad thing is that this woman had the wrong attitude and needed to be selfish in order to come to that realization. Then she not only selfishly humiliated her ex-husband but cashed in on it.

I hope that this guy married up and figured out a way to cash in on her! Who the hell does she think she is?? Women like Elizabeth Gilbert give KIND AND CONSIDERATE women a BAD NAME!

Believe it or not, this woman is only 41 years old. I thought that she was easily in her early 50’s!

LET ME GUESS? ANOTHER FEMINIST FROM THE WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT MOVEMENT?

Never air your marital and/or sex issues in public and certainly not in a book or movie! This woman is every man’s worst nightmare!

The movie industry is wide-open as you can see! As long as Americans keep producing shitty movies such as this one, Asian-American filmmakers are going to have a tremendous edge. I have quite a few Indian favorites at the moment. Storytelling is still at the heart of a great movie. The Asians know that!
