Singer Charice has glitch at Tree lighting performance
Last night, the Rockefeller Center Christmas show had a glitch.
It happened when singer Charice took the stage. As she and accompanist David Foster waited to start her song, the soundtrack for the previous song featuring Boyz II Men began playing, revealing that Boys II Men had been performing to a music track that included vocals.
There was silence, prompting Foster to take the mike and yell, “There ain’t nothing like live TV, here in New York City. We’re going to get this right in the next 15 seconds. Hang on.”
Charice smiled the entire time. What a pro!

Great attitude Charice! She is absolutely adorable and has a voice to die for!!!
Excellent recovery, she didn’t seem rattled by the problem at all. And nice key changes at the end – very enjoyable!
I find it hilarious (and pleasing) about the Boyz to Men track vocals. Ha! I have never liked them, and this makes me somewhat happier. Are they related to the guys from Milli Vanilli? LoL!
I felt like all of them had some sort of track. Maybe not Mariah but Jessica Simpson and Susan Boyle…oh and that young girl with that opera singer voice…whatever…yawnnn all around! That was so boring!
