The words Bean and Pole may not mean a lot outside Korea, but Bean Pole is perhaps one of the most recognizable clothing brands in the country. Its popularity has been largely attributable to its heavily American-influenced designs and its use of Hollywood celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and Wentworth Miller as their endorsers.
Koreans are sometimes known as the Italians of Asia, for their willingness to give themselves over to high emotion. Nowhere is this more apparent than in stores. No one beats the shoppers of Seoul for sheer fervour, whether they’re trolling for Ann Demeulemeester knock-off bags or military tunics from Korean brand Bean Pole International.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Daniel Henney have teamed up for another round of ads for Bean Pole International, a Korean fashion brand and affiliate of Samsung. Gwyneth, 38, and Daniel, 31, teamed up late 2005 for their first Bean Pole advertising campaign. Gwyneth and Daniel were spotted filming the ad campaign in Mayfair, London.
Meanwhile, a model for Bean Pole, is featured at the top of the page, modeling the Bean Pole Safari Ensemble for the very popular Children’s Line.

The little girls make such beautiful models! The one wearing the Safari Outfit is a very popular model for Bean Pole. She appears in most of the Catalogs. The next one comes out in February.

That is very true Marisa. I hope that changes and goes back to a more traditional family setting in America. Wishful thinking, no? I could look at that Rain video all day but I have to get back to work..lol!
That is because Chinese Mothers and other Asian mothers are strict (not feminists) and teach their sons to actually have manners and to be respectful of others. They do not have tough and crude masculine-like mothers bullying their father’s around setting a bad example to them in the household.
Also, most of the mothers in Asia do not work so that they can focus on raising their children. Asian mothers are very traditional, feminine and cater to their husbands in the household.
Rain is one of the hottest guys I’ve ever met…plus he is a gentleman, which is quite attractive. We interviewed him for Speed Racer and Ninja Assassin. Most Asian guys I’ve met are gentlemen. I like this video of Rain which someone posted in the forums.

I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing the Asian mother raise her children, while she holds down a demanding job. I don’t know where the energy comes from, but the “family culture” is sure ingrained. I wonder what the nucleus count is before this characteristic catches on in a different culture?

I have been a huge fan of Bean Pole for about four years. The jeans are great but the line for children is extraordinary because the quality is top-drawer! It is very much like Best & Co. which as you know, recently went out of business. 🙁
They also use the best looking Asian male models for their ad campaigns as you can see! I think “Daniel” resembles “Rain”
They are a very fussy company!
