Asian women golfers are making a mark in the sport globally.

According to the latest Rolex Rankings, seven of the top 10 women golfers hail from Asia.

With this impressive statistics, Singapore is looking at improving the women’s golf scene and the upcoming HSBC Women’s Champions golf tournament will be instrumental in that regard.

Dubbed as Asia’s major, the HSBC Women’s Champions will be held in Singapore from February 24-27 at the Tanah Merah Country Club with some of the world’s best competing.

It is no accident that Asian women golfers score better due to their high capacity for mathematics! That is just one contributing factor. My private golf instructor, Kurt Netten, a former PGA player, told me many years ago that some of the best players have a great capacity for numbers. Distance, time, weight, speed all figure into the game of golf. Especially angles from which to approach your swing!
