Like a Sponge

In an academically-driven society such as Singapore, both parents as well as children face no dearth of educational tools and props and aids.

Still, that didn’t stop Chris Rogers from starting up onSponge in February 2008.

“Singapore has many assessment books and educational series already, but we wanted a programme that would really help children to learn and understand,” said Rogers.

The education-based business was aimed at filling in gaps in the market as far as educational resources went.

It features products like +hinkingMath, a programme which aids school children in solving mathematics problem sums, and services such as workshops for parents, students, and educators.

The parents of American school children should go online and purchase the educational tools that Chris Rogers developed.

There is a very entertaining video on http://www.onsponge.com about carbon! I find this site quite enjoyable.

This man makes learning much more fun and entertaining for children. American parents should definitely encourage their children to participate in this program.

Parents in Singapore claim to have trouble helping their grade school children with their math homework because they are so far advanced!

My godson is in the STEM program and is doing algebra in the second grade! Granted he is in the top 1% of intelligence in this Country but where does that leave the rest of your children??

You have to take the time to educate your children from the time that they are born onwards. It is clear that a baby is a sponge that will absorb material.

I had a major head start bc my mother worked for American Airlines and was away on trips half the time so I went to school at a very young age. I also had a father who only spent time with me to teach me about science and trips were strictly educational to the zoo, museums etc. I was also exposed to other countries and languages from infancy. With modern technology, every child today can receive those same benefits and more!
