Facebook Now Dominates for Europeans on Web

A wide-ranging report on European Internet consumption reveals the increasing dominance of Facebook across the Continent, eclipsing other sites, changing Net behavior and squeezing established Web companies.

Women in Europe spend one out of every four minutes they spend online on a social-networking site, mostly Facebook, according to the latest research from Comscore.

Men are only slightly less hooked, spending one in six minutes.
