The majority of men like smaller women with smaller waists and hips, curves are sexy but you can’t disguise a fat woman as having womanly curves its just no excuse for being lazy and not toned.

I think girls look better when they are of a smaller size but tall with small curves not too curvy.

Because that’s how our instincts have programmed us! All those fashions magazines and clothes horses (girls) thinking men find them attractive and the ‘average’ woman thinking they have to compete is simply not true for most of guys. It’s all about proportion! You can be petite but curvy and voluptuous, or big and tall but curvy and voluptuous. BIG doesn’t necessarily mean the girl is obese.

From an “hourglass woman”. I am 5’6″, or 1.68m tall, I basically have what my friends’ tease me as the “Ghetto/J-Lo butt”. I’m considerably endowed, have a flat stomach, but quite a curvaceous butt. Men have a natural instinct to reproduce. Curvy women, in a sense, are made to ‘bear more children.’. So, I guess they are naturally drawn to heavier women. Also, some may say they like thin girls, but not the anorexic look.
They are more confident in themselves the better lovers they make no matter what shape they are.

Some men like curvy women because it is comfortable for them, soft and cushiony. It feels better to them when they have sex because they have more to push up against, but some men also like thin women too. It all depends on what the man likes.

Generally speaking, curves to a male subconscious, coincide with a woman’s ability to conceive children. A woman with wider hips and bigger breasts (to a male subconscious), would be more capable in ways of child bearing and breast feeding than say, a super slim streamlined woman with a smaller chest. This is not so for every man, though it is an accepted thesis. Everyone has a different vision of beauty, which may only be skin deep. You can be both. I think men prefer curves because they are feminine, which is the opposite of masculine. Men like women that are shaped like women, as opposed to women who are shaped like men. Women naturally have wider hips than men, thus giving us the ability to birth children, as well as giving us curves. Women also have mammary glands in their breasts, thus giving them the ability to feed the children they give birth to, as well as giving us curves. Being curvy doesn’t mean you have to be overweight, not even slightly. There is a difference between curves and rolls. Rolls can actually hide a woman’s curves.

Self confident men love to look at all women and enjoyed some beauty in each. I don’t think it has anything to do with child bearing at all. Men simply have to be attracted to a woman and they can be thin, medium or large women. I also think it’s a combination of first physical attractiveness (beauty is in the eye of the beholder) and then personality. If one or the other is lacking (the woman doesn’t have to be a raving beauty, but is beautiful in the eyes of her mate) then it all comes together. In the 17 – 18th century women use to bind their breasts because men found this attractive, but a very small waist was a real turn-on for men and women would corset themselves often causing “the vapors” (basically breathing problems from the tight corset and thus fainting.) They would even have a bottom rib removed in some cases!

I believe this is because men enjoy their little “fantasies at night” about very beautiful women. That would be a definition for beautiful women: the hourglass body, but not all men like that body.
