Korean girl group Wonder Girls wanted to dance together with their fans

Korean girl group Wonder Girls wanted to dance together with their fans at a flash mob event but got mobbed by them instead, reported Korean media.

Held at the Times Square Atrium in Seoul on Sunday, the quintet gathered thousands of fans through appeals over their Twitter accounts to form a flash mob and perform a “Like this” – a track from their latest mini album “Wonder Party” – with them.

Kicking off their performance on an open platform at the centre of the mall, the Wonder Girls members – Yenny, Yubin, Sun, Sohee and Lim – slowly made their way down towards their fans in the crowd to join them in the dance.

However, within a minute, their performance ground to a halt.

The crowd swarmed around the Wonder Girls, preventing them from continuing their performance, with many of them shoving cameras into the pop stars’ faces.

Member Sohee was separated from the other four members in the chaos.

She was later found and brought back by security guards to join the rest of the group on the platform, where they completed their “Like this” dance performance, with extra safety measures taken to keep fans slightly further away from the platform.

Look at the fans!!! Wow!
