I have to say that so many of the highest quality films are foreign films! Asian, French and Italian are the best! The way things look now, it is only a matter of time before the Asian Film Industry leads the world. The talent is incredible and the industry simply unmatched. They have the rare gift of telling captivating and important stories unlike Hollywood. When you are used to Masterpiece Theater and Foreign Films, it is very hard to subject yourself to the poor quality of most American films and documentaries. A perfect example is Anna May Wong. PBS should want to tell her story but money rules when it comes to the American television and filmmaking industry. Therefore, we are constantly subjected to people who are endowed with funds but lack the talent. The system isn’t so corrupt in other countries and that is why there is no comparison in quality. I think I speak for everyone when I say that it is a terrible shame especially with all of the incredibly talented people out there who never get a chance!

I have to edit this comment because the money was raised at the last minute and the story of Anna May Wong will be told!
