Amir Khan is on the lookout for a new trainer after taking

Amir Khan is on the lookout for a new trainer after taking to Twitter to confirm his departure from Freddie Roach’s Wild Card Gym.

The Bolton born 25-year-old saw his career thrown into turmoil after a shocking four round loss to undefeated Danny Garcia in July and rumors about the Briton’s future have circulated ever since.

This fight was so hard to watch!

Khan said: “Officially iv left freddie roach. Just spoke to his and had a good professional chat and maybe in the future we work together.[sic]“

The Olympic silver medalist is due to return to ring action in December although the search for a new coach may delay such a fight with a host of big names being thrown around in the press.

He continued: “Freddie understood why I’m looking at other trainers and wished me all the best for the future. Who do. My followers think I should go with?”

Regardless of his training set up, Khan has not been short of potential opponents. Kell Brook, Devon Alexander and the returning Ricky Hatton have all been linked with the former light-welterweight king.
