Sources say Google executives are concerned over Samsung’s growing success with devices running on Google’s Android operating system, the Wall Street Journal reports.

Samsung sells some 40 percent of the devices that run on Android, a number that could give it enough clout to renegotiate the companies’ current arrangement.

Google is said to be hoping new gadgets from HTC and Hewlett-Packard will be able to challenge Samsung.
