Fashion Week DL 1961 Premium Denim

DL 1961 Premium Denim show took place on Thursday, Sep 5th.

The show kicked off with a dance mix up of ballet and modern. Dancers swept the floor in simple white/black denims and white tops, perfectly proving the breathtaking flexibility of the new 1961 denim collection.

Flowery, crystal and metallic jeans were the highlights of the show. Since 2011, colorful and flowery jeans have always been the hot trend. This year, DL denim adds soft color to the usually bright flower. The new collection also focuses on crystal details from knee high to the end and in the back as well, making the flattest bottom look sexy and flirty. Besides, the simple golden zip works well with the shinning, metallic textile.

For Spring/Summer 2013, DL1961 partnered with Nylon’s Style Editor-at-Large, Dani Stahl, to style the show, as well as Julia Samersova Adler from E!’s “Scouted” to cast. Guests included DJ Mia Moretti and Electric Violinist Caitlin Moe, British Singer/Song Writer Neon Hitch, Model Jessica Hart, Actresses Kristin Chenoweth and Jana Kramer, Actor Chaske Spencer and reality TV personalities Simon van Kempen and Alex McCord.
