‘America will pay’: Anti-U.S. protests spread to Asia
Protesters enraged by a film mocking the Prophet Mohammad battled with police in several Asian cities today and vented their fury against the United States, blaming it for what they see as an attack on the Muslim religion.
Police fired in the air to break up a crowd marching on the U.S. consulate in the Pakistani city of Karachi while in Afghanistan and Indonesia people burnt U.S. flags and chanted “Death to America”.
Indonesian police fired teargas and water cannon to disperse hundreds of demonstrators who massed outside the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta, capital of the most populous Muslim nation.
In Kabul, protesters set fire to cars and shops and threw stones at police.
“We will defend our prophet until we have blood across our bodies. We will not let anyone insult him,” said one protester in the Afghan capital. “Americans will pay!”

As a Muslim, these protests are getting out of hand. If you want to protest about something, protest about the US’ support for the economic oppression of Palestinians, protest about the oil the US looted from Iraq, protest about the US’s endless support for the oppressive Saudi Arabian tyrant regime, no one in Saudi Arabia wants those Royal parasites in power. The United States’ support for those Royal parasites is the only reason they are in a power.
Protest about the USA’s endless support for the oppression of Bahrainis, every day at least 12 Bahrainis die in their homes due to tear gas. Protest about the USA’s support for the illegal Israeli occupation of the West Bank.
Don’t protest about a stupid movie made by a nobody. Who cares what some nobody’s opinion is? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. The Messenger himself SAID that everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
I have to agree with you! They are just looking for a reason to fight. Like jealous bitches. They don’t want you around anymore, so they’ll make up any excuse to get mad a you and say you did awful things, like oh you did this to my sister or you looked at my friend the wrong way. If they want to start with us, they will find any reason to start!
