NBA star Jeremy Lin visited the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center. He met with Executive Director Giles Li to discuss issues facing the Asian community. He was later joined by NFL player Patrick Chung, and the two spoke to assembled children and youth about the importance of staying in school and giving back to the community.
Founded in 1969, the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center Inc. (BCNC) has been a vital link in energizing the Asian immigrant and Asian American community of Greater Boston. BCNC sponsors eight major programs: Early Education and Childcare, Family Childcare, After School Programs, Youth Center Programs, Family Services, Adult Education, Recreation and Fitness, and Arts and Enrichment.
