Melissa Lee anchor change at CNBC
Melissa Lee is cutting back her anchoring duties at CNBC. Lee is moving off the 9amET show “Squawk on the Street” which she has co-anchored since Erin Burnett‘s departure almost two years ago.
“Melissa is an integral part of the network and wanted to focus on ‘Fast Money’ the 5PM show she has hosted since 2009 as well as work on other projects including her upcoming documentary on the industrial Internet,” a CNBC spokesperson tells TVNewser.
TVNewser hears Kelly Evans who joined CNBC from the Wall Street Journal last year and who currently anchors “Worldwide Exchange” from London, will be returning to CNBC HQ in the coming weeks and could land at “Squawk” alongside Carl Quintanilla, David Faber, Simon Hobbs and Jim Cramer. But no definitive plans are in place, insiders say.
This throws a wet blanket on the morning show, but will allow Melissa to shine in her specials which she hasn’t been able to do in a few years. Change is good. Kelly will do a good job.

Hopefully that Rocky Road explosion won’t be confused with something happening in N.Korea! We could all “sell in May, and go away” a month early, until CNBC gets their act together. I wonder what Melissa thinks of this change? Will Asiance request an interview to update her previous 2 interviews?

Maria Bartiromo leaving CNBC
CNBC anchor Maria Bartiromo is leaving the financial news channel, CNBC spokesman Brian Steel confirmed Monday. She is set to join rival Fox Business Network, according to various reports Monday evening.
“After 20 years of groundbreaking work at CNBC, Maria Bartiromo will be leaving the company as her contract expires on November 24th,” Steel said in a statement. “Her contributions to CNBC are too numerous to list but we thank her for all of her hard work over the years and wish her the best.”
A Fox spokeswoman said the network “[does] not have anything to announce at this time”

Bartiromo currently hosts the daytime program “Closing Bell” as well as a weekend show, “On the Money with Maria Bartiromo.” She joined CNBC in 1993 and later became the first journalist to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on a daily basis.
She worked for five years at CNN Business News prior to joining CNBC.
Nicknamed the “money honey,” Bartiromo was famously the subject of a tribute song by punk rocker Joey Ramone.
“I watch her at the big board every single day,” Ramone sang. “While she’s reporting you best stay out of her way.”
Let’s hope she leaves the Botox lips at CNBC. I can imagine how this unfolded…..$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Sure looks like she got a botox job on the upper lips of that small mouth. Check out some of the older videos and you’ll see that she was born with fish lips before the botox job. Also, it appears that she got a boob job. Fat and ugly but she thinks she’s hot wearing plunge line cleavage dresses but has nothing to show.
