After making her mark on morning news and prime time, Julie Chen has set her sights on daytime.

The Early Show anchor and Big Brother host will shoot a View-like talk-show pilot for CBS next month that will be geared toward mothers, a network source told Entertainment Weekly. Chen will also executive-produce the program, which, if picked up, could fill the void that will soon be left by the departing As the World Turns, the source said.
