Julie Chen denies she had a nose job
Julie Chen has been forced to deny that she had a nose job after admitting that she had eye surgery in her mid-twenties.
The 43-year-old, who revealed last week that she was once told she would never be an anchor because she is Chinese, told The Talk yesterday that she has not had any other cosmetic surgery.
‘For the record, I have never had a nose job,’ she said. ‘I have only had plastic surgery done to my eyes that I’ve already told you about.’
Ms. Chen says that the difference in the appearance of her nose in her ‘after’ photo was thanks to her make-up artist’s contouring skills.
She did consider rhinoplasty though. She says she decided against it, however, after her grandmother told her that the shape of her nose is considered a ‘good fortune nose’ in Chinese culture – and they both shared the same feature.
Ms. Chen also insisted on Monday’s edition of the show that her intention with the eye procedure was not to make herself look ‘less Asian’, rather that she wanted her eyes to look ‘more open’.
Referring to ‘haters’ who shared ‘hurtful’ responses to her story, she said: ‘The hateful comments that I read where people were judging me were people within my own community.
Agreed?!?!

I agree. The same Dr. who didn’t do her nose job is also the same Dr. who didn’t do her boobs. However, that was a good fortune nose allowing her to sniff out Les Moonves from his erstwhile marriage. Did she get her butt lifted also?
Her own community? Is she referring to the Asian community? Because the Asian community isn’t her community anymore. She abandoned that community a long time ago.
That’s a nice nose surgery.
