The Clé de Peau Beauté La Boheme Collection for Spring 2014

Clé de Peau Beauté has become one of my favorite beauty brands. Not only do they excel in superior formulations but they have equally thought out products in both their makeup and skincare lines. Their harmonized Japanese aesthetic and cutting-edge science, along with their modern French elegance are a combination like no other brand. You truly get the sense of pampering yourself when applying these products, and your skin looks radiant and natural.

For Spring, I am excited by their La Boheme Collection which features color combinations inspired by a free spirited, romantic look that also embraces the modern woman. Delicate, feminine, and beautifully chic. Makeup Creative Director Lucia Pieroni says, “It fuses the wild and unconventional ethos of a Bohemian beauty with chic sophistication, creating a collection that celebrates the women of today.”

The Luminizing Face Enhancer makes quite the statement with its decadent looking jeweled compact designed by jeweler Shaun Leane, and combines soft tones of pale pink and luminous white to deliver natural color which results in a healthy glow that seems to radiate from within. This is made possible by their innovative light directing technology – Illuminating Beads – which layers two different types of pearls to transmit, disperse, and reflect light in all directions to create an all over radiance. Its silky texture makes your skin feel smooth and soft. A light dusting of this powder and your complexion will look more radiant and flawless while also looking natural. I highly recommend this Enhancer, especially for our Asian complexions since it will immediately illuminate your skin and it will appear brighter and healthier. The Spring Collection also launched two Eye Color Quads, Peach Brown (#211) and Plum Brown (#212), inspired by the hues of romantic peaches and plums. These new colors create a youthful yet bold softness around the eye area. Argan tree oil and exclusive Hydro-Wrap Complex keep the colors in place and moisturize for long-lasting wear. The velvety formulation goes on smoothly and its matte finish allows for many different looks.

I never need an excuse to try out new lip colors so I was excited to try out Cle de Peau’s Limited Edition Enriched Lip Luminizer. All three new shades: Sweetie Pie (#224), Toffee Apple (#225), and Fabulous Fig (#226) are gorgeous and infused with a unique color complex technology. This Lip Luminizer formula harnesses light and increases radiance while the Hydro-Wrap Complex EX seals color pigments for maximum hydration benefits and long-lasting wear.
