Marisa Sung’s Holiday Spiced Nuts

These delicious spiced nuts serve as a lovely snack at a Cocktail Party. Marisa Sung’s Holiday Spiced Nuts go very well with all varieties of The Carletto Wine Collection. Check it out:

Ingredients:
Low Fat Cooking Spray
1 egg white
2 tbsp. cold water
3 cups pecan halves
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
wax paper

Steps:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Coat baking sheet with spray.
Place egg white in medium bowl; add water and beat slightly with fork. Add pecans and toss to coat.
Stir in remaining ingredients until well blended. Spread nuts in single layer on baking sheet; bake 30 mins., stirring every 10 mins. or so.
Transfer nuts to wax paper, separating individual nuts, and let stand 20 mins. or until cool to set the coating.
Serve.
Servings = 12

    Great article! I recently received RawSpiceBar’s Indian Spices– garam masala and tandoori spices for making chicken tikka masala and it was pretty spot on. It’s tough to find freshly ground kashmiri chiles and other high quality hard to find spices. Look forward to receiving next month’s spice blends from them and worth looking into if you’re an adventurous cook.
