Battlestar Galactica’s Grace Park Announces the Nominees for the 2007 AZN Asian Excellence Awards
Babel and Letters From Iwo Jima Collect Multiple Nominations in Film Categories; Heroes and Lost Lead in Nominations for Television
Los Angeles, CA (May 11, 2007) – At a press conference held yesterday in Los Angeles, Grace Park (Battlestar Galactica), co-host of the upcoming 2007 AZN Asian Excellence Awards® presented by JCPenney, announced the nominees for this year?s awards presentation. Also speaking at the conference were executive producers Welly Yang and Teddy Zee. The show, which honors outstanding achievements of Asian and Asian Americans, will premiere on AZN Television on Monday, May 28 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

The 2007 AZN Asian Excellence Awards® will be taped live at UCLA's Royce Hall on May 16. Daniel Dae Kim (Lost) will co-host the show with Grace Park. Prior to the awards telecast on AZN Television, E! Entertainment Television, the top global source for everything red carpet, will air an hour-long special featuring red carpet arrivals, behind-the-scenes excitement and highlights from the event. The special will air on E! on May 24 at 6:00 p.m. ET/PT.
