Actress Lucy Liu may soon arrive in India to make a film

Actress Lucy Liu may soon arrive in India to make a film on the subject of human trafficking.

This will be a directorial debut for Liu, who has acted in a few dozen films and some television serials. She has also produced a few movies. It’s rumored to be set in Mumbai, this short film will be starring Tannishtha Chatterjee (Brick Lane).

According to reports, Liu’s short movie, will be the first to be filmed, of a four-movies-wrapped-in-one project. Two other short films are being directed by Oscar winners Angelina Jolie (Changeling) and Meryl Streep (The Devil Wears Prada). Lucy Alexis Liu, 41, was born to Taiwanese immigrants in New York (USA).
