Indian actress Shriya Saran stars in love story with Jesse Metcalfe

Disguising herself as American, an Indian credit card phone operator (Shriya) travels to San Francisco for a romantic liaison with a man (Metcalfe) she met through her work. Upon her arrival, however, she decides to keep her true identity a secret, which threatens to dampen the sparks between her and her potential beau. Producer Ashok Amritraj brings to the big screen his latest comedy “The Other End of the Line” which will be released nationwide on October 31. Shriya is 26 years old and recently starred opposite Rajnikanth in the Indian blockbuster `Sivaji: The Boss.' The film is the first in a five-year co-production deal between Amritraj's U.S.-based Hyde Park Entertainment and India's powerhouse studio Reliance. Amritraj's previous Hollywood comedies have included `Bringing Down the House' starring Steve Martin and Queen Latifah, and `Raising Helen' starring Kate Hudson. “The Other End of the Line” was shot in Mumbai and San Francisco and also stars Anupam Kher.
