Barack Obama is first minority/ Black President

Barack Obama becomes the first Black and minority President of the United States, although reports have surfaced that ancestors of previous presidents were either black and/or minorities. Our next president will be a man who identifies himself as black, but was raised by his white mother – ” a man who reflects the multiracial society America has become. Consider this: There were just a few hundred Web sites when Clinton took office and virtually no blogs when Bush entered the White House in January 2001. Obama, of course, raised millions of dollars via the Internet. He tried to announce his selection of Joe Biden as his running mate with a text message. One of his favorite platforms, YouTube, did not exist when Bush began his second term. He has many things to change and McCain didn't even have a chance after the Bush administration. Regardless, I still think it's cool that Barack and I share the same birthday, almost to the minute, minus a few years. How long before we see the first Asian president?
