Three exceptional Asian Americans together in one night

Maya Lin, Vera Wang and Ang Lee came out for the Museum of Chinese in America Inaugural Gala in NYC. Six individual Legacy Awards were presented to Steve Chen, Youtube Co-Founder; Jon L. Christianson, Partner of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom; Wei Christianson, CEO of Morgan Stanley China; T.C. Hsu, former President of The Starr Foundation; Ang Lee, Academy Award-winning Director; and Christine A. Poon, Vice Chair of Johnson and Johnson. Fashion designer Vera Wang and artist Maya Lin, recipients of past Legacy Awards, were presenters at the Gala. To inaugurate the 2009 opening of its new facility, the Museum of Chinese America honored eight leaders who have made positive contributions to the Chinese American community.
