TLC has come out with a television program titled “Killer on Campus,”

TLC has come out with a television program titled “Killer on Campus,” a look at the Annie Le slaying at Yale, and the shooting rampage at the University of Alabama. The program airs on the TLC channel at 9 p.m. Sunday.

The “sneak peak” shows a young Asian woman in a lab coat being approached by a guy pushing a cart, interspersed with images of a middle-aged woman shooting co-workers during a faculty meeting.

Le, 24, a Yale graduate student, was killed last September at the lab building where she conducted medical experiments. Raymond J. Clark III, an animal technician in the same building, is charged with murder and felony murder. He has pleaded not guilty and is going through pretrial sessions in Superior Court in New Haven.

A TLC news release promises “never-before-seen interviews with faculty, students and local journalists. The program also explores the dark psychological profiles of the alleged killers, examining their history, as well as possible motivations.”

TLC Digital Publicist Matt Chun said he doesn’t think there is any significant new information about the Le slaying in the program.

According to Chun, interviews were done with Paul Needham, editor-in-chief at the Yale Daily News; an unidentified medical student who knew Clark; Le’s friend and Yale colleague Jennifer Simpson; and Anne Marie Goodwin, a former neighbor of Clark’s in New Haven who said he was very controlling in his treatment of his girlfriend at the time.

The story of the killing also led to a recently released book by author Stella Sands, “Murder at Yale: The True Story of a Beautiful Grad Student and a Cold-Blooded Crime.”

Clark’s attorney, Joseph E. Lopez, could not be reached for comment.

Clark is due in court Sept. 8.
