THE WARRIOR’S WAY is a visually-stunning modern martial arts western starring Korean actor Jang Dong Gun who plays an Asian warrior assassin forced to hide in a small town in the American Badlands. Rounding out the ensemble cast are Kate Bosworth (Superman Returns), Oscar(r)-winner Geoffrey Rush (Shine), Danny Huston (The Kingdom), and Tony Cox (The Hustle).The fantasy action film was written and directed by newcomer Sngmoo Lee, and is being produced by Barrie M. Osborne (Lord of the Rings), Jooick Lee (Seven Swords) and Michael Peyser (Hackers).

THE WARRIOR’S WAY, released by Relativity Media, will open in theatres on December 3, 2010. We’re all very excited for the film’s premiere, as it will introduce American mainstream audiences to Jang Dong Gun, who is already a box office mega-sensation in Asia. The unique storyline also gives ‘Hollywood’ a new look at the Asian Male lead. With the Asian wave hitting PopRadio, TV and now the Big Screen, it will be interesting to see how mainstream movie audiences will take to our new star from the East. Could he be the next one to share in a legacy that belongs to Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Chow Yun Fat, and Jet Li?
