Rest in Peace Michelle

26-year old Michelle Maykin was originally diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a cancer of the blood, on February 27, 2007. For Michelle to be cured of her leukemia, her treatment plan included even more intensive chemotherapy, radiation, and a bone marrow transplant.

Surrounded by her husband Van, her family and close friends, Michelle left us this morning at 2:08am.

The Fremont Buddhist Thai Temple held a special Buddhist prayer ceremony in honor of Michelle today.
