Manny vs Mayweather will be money!

Now that confirmation of a Pacquiao – Mayweather fight is getting louder and louder, I’m already starting to take bets and trying to see if I can managed some tickets..Manny all the way!

Manny Pacquiao’s 12th-round technical knockout of Miguel Cotto in their welterweight title fight Saturday night generated 1.25 million pay-per-view buys, with gross revenue of $70 million, HBO said Friday.

Of the total, 650,000 came from cable subscribers and 600,000 from satellite homes. An estimated 110,000 purchases came from Puerto Rico, Cotto’s homeland.

The fight’s performance exceeded that of the Floyd Mayweather-Juan Manuel Marquez bout Sept. 19, which generated 1.05 million pay-per-view buys.

At 1.25 million, the performance of Pacquiao-Cotto equaled that of last year’s Pacquiao-Oscar De La Hoya fight. The De La Hoya-Mayweather fight two years ago generated the record, 2.4 million, which explains why there is so much interest in a Pacquiao-Mayweather match.

An no doubt a big payday for each!
